A Day in the Life

A Day in the Life...As a probationary member, you will be training based on a standardized checklist of basic skills and knowledge of our operations. You will be assigned an advisor who will be your point of contact for any questions, comments or concerns you have and will meet with you regularly to check in on your progress. You will have 90 days to complete this training. Halfway through this training, you will meet with your advisor and a supervisor to review your progress and to be cleared to begin driver training.

During your scheduled hours, you will ride as a part of the emergency response crew to medical calls and perform basic assessment/treatment skills. You may sign up to do special event details and public education booths or programs and perform
